So nostalgic, reading about this game takes me back when more than a decade ago every doujin release had some echo which wasn't about rating the game but about how much one enjoyed it instead. Valstar is a shooter I consider extremely hard, maybe harder than even the arcade STGs. Generally the enemies aren't a big deal but when they start firing you will fastly get cornered. This is especially true for the bosses after stage 3. Despite this I still love the game.
